I LOVE YOU TK BAND!!!

yesterday was great fun!fall in at 9 with full uniform.then check.blah blah.did a bit of run throughs.then lunch.then fall in at 12.30.prep talk, last run through on tk field then it was off to the stadium.everyone was nervous-excited.saw the crowd and the adrenaline just shot through us.went into the holding room and deyi was already there.sleeping.they took up 2/3 of the room.when they only had like 50 ppl.we had only 1/3 of the room left and had to squeeze about 180 of us in!!!so then ms tan told us to shift the divider back so that it is fair.half-half.

sat there, talk, relax.then went for warm up.azlan wanted to give us euphos a speech, but he juz broke down, and was speechless.awww!we were so touched.nuraini and wang min started crying as well.then we showed our sway gimmick and everyone was dancing and shaking their booty!haha.way to go tk band!then went to gate 3.the stadium was full!and we were really psyched.finally, we entered the stadium and the whole of tk was cheering.we did our 8 min display.jit rui dropped the mace once.but other than that, the display was almost flawless.

after our performance, we marched off to gate 1, where the victoria instituition cadet corps band from malaysia were waiting.every sl started shoting their 'i love you's to their sections.everyone felt relieved.then there were these 3 girls from dunno where came and asked kenneth for his number!oh my god!so tak tahu malu(no shame). then they saw nicholas, and asked him as well.juz like a civilised and sane person that a tksian should be, nic and kenneth didnt give their numbers.then time for the re-entry.the victoria band wasnt ready even when the music has already started.so we had to practically run around them and onto the tracks.and slowly start to march.haha.it was funny.

then it was time for the results.

deyi won the best drum major award.congrats to them!then the results of the best display band award.the announcer was crap lah."and the best display band of the year award goes to the band from...the school..and the name of the school is......................TANJONG KATONG SECONDARY SCHOOL!"THE WHOLE CROWD WENT WILD.it was such an amazing feeling!especially since about 70% of the crowd were tk supporters.the whole band just started screaming their lungs out.after i screamed, i juz burst out in tears of joy.we almost missed the cue to march off.esp the sec 4s, we cried a lot cos our hard work finally paid off.and i was crying even when we played the repertoire.and azlan came up to the euphos and cried.he told us, "this is what money can't buy".when peggy said "band, take a rest.go and take pictures", this group of girls juz came and ran to me and started hugging me.and then no one cold see me.haha.i was hidden in that huge mess of girls.thanx guys.i mean gals.haha.they were shermaine, fatin, amanda, sandhya, chayana, ashley..and a few others.amanda gave me flowers.haha.how sweet!then met sweta.omg!its been so long since i've seen her.haha.then we all went back to school.watched the video of our performance.then cheered, took more photos.left shcool at 9.then euphos went to fish and co for dinner.it was very ex.but the food was absolutely great!then we went our separate ways.on the way home, kathy called me to give me an update.hahah.our secret.reached home at 12.was so tired.and rifat wasnt even home yet!god knows what time he came home.but my parents didnt mind.they'd rather we enjoy ourselves and celebrate and make the moment last.

i'm going to spend today and tmr catching up on sleep and hw.toodles!
