FAREWELL PARTY 2006
that's what it was.=)
it was a night of cam-whoring with gorgeous ladies and handsome guys.hahah.but more importantly, it was really nice to see all my wonderful juniors again! i finally got to personally welcome vernicia to the section.and they guys never changed.well, maybe they got more rowdy and talkative.
the performance was great! i give everyone credit for putting in the effort to make a unique show with interesting ideas.
first was kamarul, saeful and azmi's performance.they were a band of their own playing "chasing cars" by snow patrol.
then it was rifat's group dancing to "we're all in this together" by the cast of highschool msical.really great stuff!
this was followed by chin kiat's group which did a skit.it was about a group of students who were interested in music but their school did not offer band as a cca.it was cute esp when chin kiat went "i am the most handsome boy..." LOL.
then it was erfi's group.they did parodies of a few music videos.they did "i write sins not tragedies", "el-ninyo", "hips don't lie", "someday" and of course, a madonna song.forgot the title though.
then came the plague presentation ceremony.i forgot my speech so i went like "uhmm..thank you everyone for everything..errr..euphoniums rock! and librarians too.." haha.and erfi was like "why never thank me?"
DINNER TIME! well, it was more like "eat-for-five-minutes-then-take-loads-of-photos-for-the-next-hour".but it was great.sectional bonding and stuff.got presents and yada yada.erfi gave me cookies!yummy!
the section gave me a necklace with eyeshadow/lipstick pendant.haha.its so cute!thank you guys! and of course the card.really cute.
each sec 4 had a ballon with their name and a message from the section leader.
then came the sec 3's performance.really cool!it was a musical about a girl who wanted to dance but her boyfriend couldn't.they fought and stuff and had a battle in the end.but it all ended well.fiza and jerald made a really cute couple!hahha.oh yes..and wang min was sucha a great dancer!she shook her thang!just like the sway dance for outdoor comp. ;P
then they had 2 "special" prizes for best dressed.jun siang won best dressed guy.and err..i won best dressed lady.haha.SHOCKER!considering that my outfit was recycled.my earrings were my mom's since she was dating my dad.the only thing new were the chopsticks in my hair which i bought on the day itself.and for that, i got a tiara with blue fluffy thingies on it.haha.thank you judges! =)
