went for tpjc runway last week.shit happened.but i had fun.oh yea.LEONG YING MAE was gorgeous!she should have came in first lah!but i guess second will do.

its about time i updated this THING.

council has been really fun - with all the drama and laughter.well, at least the circle council badge looks nicer than the triangular tpjc badge.=)

now on to studies.almost every teacher is fed up with my class just because we are noisy.then they realise, we have the highest average score. i feel so proud.talking bout results, i got As for my bio and chem faculty tests.since fac tests are supposed to be hard, i sure am dang proud of myself! i think i flunk econs and im gonna try to study math this weekend.

my weekend wont be so free though. have to attend college day.i have to do ushering, VIP reception and the reception after the whole thing.its not that bad though.all those jobs last only for a while. :)

i dont know how i'm supposed to feel.its scary to think about my feelings.and as for you mister, you have to choose between love and sympathy.

sorry for not updating for a really long time.i guess the highlight so far is TPJC SONGFEST 2007.last week was the preliminary rounds and the recent friday was the finals.

the winner of the solo category was ASRI!!so proud of him!he sounded just like mariah carey when he sang without you.imagine that!hahah.i cant find a video of him though.

and the winer of the group category was THE CHEEKENS!i was rooting for them and Blossom.but Blossom got consolation.The Cheekens performed an original song called The Arts House.its an indiepop song.they were good.really laidback.deserved the top spot.presenting, The Cheekens...

WTFish?adults have totally got it wrong on the whole EMO business.like Sandra Davie, who wrote for the Straits Times.

a tell-tale sign that your kids are emo:

like come on!i listen to all those bands and i'm not emo!some people say i'm living in denial.but whatever.this whole emo issue has just gone too far.

this whole week was spent reading fanfics.i know it sounds like i've got no life but it was really interesting to read people's take on different bands and their fantasies about them.it was weird in a way.

wednesday was our very last class outing as PAE 07S07.it was a really fun yet relaxing outing.it was a typical outing to the beach with gossips and such.

thursday i went out with 2nd orientation Morgan OG4.they're really something.a fun batch to hang out with.and daryl was the only guy as usual.what can i say?he's a ladies man.LOL

on friday was supposed to have hotcakes with fiza but that woman woke up late.then, went shopping with MOMster.we saw some nice clothes and shoes but none were striking enough for us to buy.they were almost similar.ended up buying plates, spoons and forks.then we headed over to HMV and i bought The Used : Berth and Taking Back Sunday : Louder Now Partone.i love you mom!then i bought some iPod accesories.

yesterday i went to zaki's house to help out with stuff for his sis' wedding.they're giving little jars of honey.how cute!then we went for aunty murni's bbq.the kids were noisy but me, rifat, diana and aida were watching What A Girl Wants peacefully.=)

today is "Rock DVD day".sorta.i'm gonna watch the Panic! At The Disco DVD, then TBS, then The Used.i'm just waiting to get my hands on Release The Bats.after that, i might try to watch FightClub to catch Jared Leto in action.

okay.i was exxagerating.its not the latest news and a little shocking.well, to me it was.here goes - ALL 3 HANSON BROTHERS ARE MARRIED *cries hysterically*okay i shall cut the drama.

you must be thinking "i thought they were dead".well NYEH!they're not.in fact their 7th album was just released in Japan a few weeks ago.and i'm liking the album.

how did i find out about the weddings?well, i was cleaning my cd rack and found Hanson's album This Time Around.i put it in my computer to rip it, at the same time looking for their videos.then i found out on some YouTube video.now who am i gonna marry?*sobs*well, at least they're happy.that's all that matters right?

oh ma gawd!i'm still suffering from a major hangover.GAHHH!thanks to those who commented on the videos of my YouTube account.you guys rock!

today marks the end of orientation 2.Captain Morgan OG4 kicked ass man!they bonded really well and i'm so proud of them!we had this moshing session thingy towards the end and it was fun.i think me, khairy, zolene and zhong yun had our own fun - laughing at the you-knw-who.LOL.retard.

after that, we went for lunch at TMart Macs.then to CCA fair.kok swee was asking me to come back to softball and there is a game on sunday.the girls team may not play cos not enough people.me and tania are in a dilemma.to join or not to join?

and we met ALICIA!we have not seen her in a blardy long time and it was fun to gossip about that retard and hot guys in her U.i reminded her to give them my number LOL!

now i'm ripping the Chris Daughtry album to upload onto my iPod.going back to TK tmr in my FOB shirt.gonna see 'em fellow Euphos!and all my other darlings.=)

sorry i took a long time to update.i promise this will be a super long one!=)

Im suffering from serious CONCERT HANGOVER.the fall out boy concert was like the best concert EVER!

i made t-shirts for all of us the week before.it took 3 bottles of gold paint and one tub of silver dry stencil.but it turned out nice.many people at the concert asked where we got it.=) i realised i can be quitre artistic =P.

left home at 9.45 to meet zakk at tanah merah mrt.but that woman came only at 11.then after we got on the train to expo, zakk realised she lost her phone.so i went to expo myself while that woman go look for her phone.i found the max pavillion and just joined the already long queue.it was only like 11.15 in the morning but there were like a hundred people infront of us already. plus, there was some church gathering in the hall just beside the concert venue.like c'mon.church beside rock concert?

erfi and jolene joined us at 2+ and we just sat there singing and reading magazines while i attempted to do homework.i managed to get them done except for the bio essay.then at 2.40 or so, me and zakk went to get lunch.when we got to bk, i saw desmond.that goondu went to expo just to study!then we got a call from erfi saying that the management moved the queue to inside hall 9.everyone was damned piss.so we bought our food and quickly went back.when we got there, the ang moh bitches screamed at us to not cut the line.we were'nt cutting!we were just joining our friends.all our stuff were with them.what do you expect me to do?go to the back of the queue and not have any ticket since they are with the ppl at the front of the queue?such sluts you know these fucking immigrants!dont get me wrong.i was only referring to that group.we somehow managed to get to erfi and jolene and quickly called rifat to come so that he could join us.we talked to this bunch of much older caucasions and they allowed rifat to cut the line.so nice of them.=))

suddenly, one security guard blew a whistle and everyone rushed to the dorr.that was the worse part.the earlier skanks were shouting for us to sit down when they were they ones who rushed first.idiots!go back to america for all i care.we dont want you here!we were standing for like 2 hours before they start letting ppl out one by one.erfi and rifat managed to get out first, leaving me, zakk and jolene in the crowd.we were grabbing each others arms so we wouldnt be separated.after 1/2 and hour in an awkward position with my feet barely touching the ground, jolene managed to get pushed by some ppl to the door (with her back facing the door!it was so funny).i was about to go out cos jolene was grabbing my arm as she went out the door.but the security guard put his hand in front of my neck and i was almost choking.he then let me out slowly and soo, pulled zakk and leo out.leo was a friend we met while being stuck in that stuffy hall.he and rifat kept shouting "GOD BLESS GOD!" it was damn funny.when we got out, we turned around and looked at the crowd still in the hall.it was just like the time michael jackson came to singapore!ppl fainting, vommitting, crying histerically, asthma attacks, claustrophobia.it was horrifying!well, okay.i was exagerating the horrifying part.but all those really did happen.scary mary!

then we got to queue up again but it was much better.friendly security.gave them my ticket, got a pink wrist band and ran into the pavillion.when i saw the place, it was dang empty!hahah.we easily got the front row!YAY US! we were right in front of pete!wooohooo!

the first opening band was ONE BUCK SHORT from malaysia.the drummer was dang good and super hott!hahah.the band started playing and this fat dude came out dancing on stage.i was like "why is this random dude dancing on stage?" then i realised he was the singer.whoops!my bet.here's some pics of them.

the next band was none other than our very own SAW LOSER!ahhhhh!the last time i saw them peform was like 2 yrs ago.the very first time i saw them live was in sec 2.sooo long ago.masashi was as japanese as ever.sam was as blonde as ever.his butt was practically hanging out of his pants.matt (i have not seen him in so long!he didnt perform the last time i saw them live) was as chubby as ever! so cute!then there was jimmi!one word describes him - FREAKINGHOTTSTUFF! =)

then, it was FALL OUT BOY!the band we paid money to watch!hahah.i got excited when the crew pasted the song list on the stage.it was a LONG list!pete was super-dee-duper hott!like duh!haha.he wore this blue t-shirt and hoodie with fur.LOL.patrick looked dang cute in his green hoodie.andy was half naked as usual with his hair flying as furiously as his drumming.and then there is joe trohman!he had many trohmania moments and he HAD HIS AFRO DO!haha.i've been waiting to see that!he looks cute with a 'fro!

they opened their set with songs from their From Under the Cork Tree album - Our Lawyer Made Us Change The Name Of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued. it was a BANG!

then, they continued with Of All The Gin Joints In The World.amazing stuff!

pete then told the crowd to move back cos people were pushing till the barrier in front moved.some people were crushed.

this was followed by Sugar We're Going Down. pete held up the mic stand at one part where it was just the crowd singing, then he threw it down on stage.so cool.

they then played songs from their album Take This To Your Grave. starting with The Patron Saint Of Liars And Fakes.

Tell That Mick He Just Made My List Of Things To Do Today. pete threw his guitar pick into the crowd before he did the intro for the song.you can see him and joe spinning around like mad men and of course! pete jumping off the speakers!how can he not do that.he is just amazing!

They went back to playing From Under the cork tree songs with Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner. pete did what me and zakk predicted.he jumped onto the speakers right in front of us.he was only a meter away from us!and zakk, that lucky biatch, got to touch his hand! its ok.i'm cool with that.hahaha.

Sohphomore Slump Or Comeback Of The Year.i was secretly hoping that william beckette would come out and do his part.but tough luck.WB was busy preparing for The Academy Is...'s new album due soon.but still, patrick did that part well!

then came the time for the reason of the concert.songs from the album Infinty On High.starting with Thriller. Jolene thought Jay-Z would come out and do his part.but, NAH.he didnt.pete played the bass on his head.why he did that, i have no idea.

they carried on with a Take This To Your Grave Song. It was their anthem which we like to call Grand Theft Autumn. i loved it when everyone sang the intro chorus. "where is your boy tonight, i hope he is a gentleman, maybe he won't find out what i know - you were the last good thing about this part of town". then the powerful guitars and drums came in.wonderful! before every chorus you can hear the crowd shouting "1, 2, 3, 4".damn shiok!

back to From Under The Cork Tree with XO.patricks vocals for the intro was so deep and sexay!hahah.i loved the part where he sang "i hope you choke and crash your car, hey tear chatcher, that's all that you are".t'was so cool.

Pete said he was happy to be in Asia, the part where everyone understands what you're saying (they came from japan before this and nobody understood them). he made us scream "GODDAMN".he said it was his favourite part of this song.yep, you guessed it - This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race.pete and joe looked extremely cute when they did the "hu hu hu hu hu hu hu" part.

pete invited his friend A.J. to jump into the mosh pit in the middle.they did he train, going round and round.

I Slept With Someone In Fall Out Boy And All I Got Was This Stupid Song Written About Me. patrick sang the chorus like he was relieved to get it off his chest. "so douse yourself in cheap perfume it's so fitting of the way you are."

then came the time for one of my favourite songs.The Take over The Breaks Over.i was a little disappointed they did not play Fame (Is Less Than) Infamy.

"how many of you motherfuckers came out here to DANCE DANCE?" that was the intro pete gave.his solo was awesome! after singing "why don't you show me a little bit of spine you've been saving for his matress, love" patrick drew a heart with his fingers, just like he did on the video.it was so cute! Dirrty came out during one of the choruses and did pete's dance routine from the video.it was too cute - dirrty with his black vest and beer belly sticking out.

They ended off with a song fron Take This To Your Grave.Saturday.Pete took off his hoodie towards the end and did his screamo part.a security guard carried him towards the crowd as he did so.his shirt was torn to bits.when he got back on stage, he peeled off whatever that was left of his shirt and threw it into the crowd.

the whole concert was amazing!i was upset they didnt play some of my favourites, but it was well worth the 10 hr wait!

went for bio and chem lecture then slack in the canteen.there were no other lectures so we hung out with kim wakerman and her friend who gate-crashed the school.then we watched Nas and the other guys play soccer after his physics lecture.me, annurshah, jay and this other girl played cards.we did that all the way till 2.30.

then jiten came and ask us to sign up for council.so we did.then walk around the school looking at the diff ccas.

i signed up for council (almost the whole OG signed up), dance, debate, canoeing, band (i pity them.the band was super small! 1 euphonium, 3 clarinets.you can imagine how small that is!) and softball.

felt tired so i went home early with shuyi.gonna go for try-outs throughout the week.i shall keep posting.till next time, toodles!

today got our classes.im in 07S07.damn cool.but, i only know 1 person in that class - Joyce.hiaz.
now have to start the whole "hi.i'm astrid.what's your name.which school were you from?nice to meet you." thing all over again.

it also means that i got my 2nd choice.H2 - bio, chem, maths. H1 - econs.

boo-hoo.that means no Theatre studies and drama.

after that, went to tamp with shuyi.went to giordano to buy t-shirts.then went to eat at LJS.after that, we went to popular and sans bookshop.i couldnt find the books i wanted so we went to the library.

after like 1 hr of searching, i finally found the books.they're CHUCK PALAHNIUK books.i got 3 titles.

- Diary : A Novel

but the one i really wanted wasnt available in tamp.its called Stranger Than Fiction : True Stories.if any of you can find it, do tell me.=)

Fall Out Boy's album is coming out on 6th Feb.that is like a few days before the release of 'o' level results.but, our good friends from AOLmusic has invited the guys to perform some new songs.

Orientation night on friday was really fun.for me, the highlight was when Barbossa won the award for loudest cheers.YAY US!

also, there was moshing at the end.really cool.it felt as if MOS changed its name to TPJC.

ytd, went back to TK for cca recruitment.was really fun walking around the school for the first time as an alumnus.haha.
talked to Mr Lee, the new principal - without knowing that it was him!that was funny.he was from VJC and he talked about JC life a little.

then went for dinner with jolene, yug han and erfi.we sat at PP Macs and told ghost stories bout the school.then jolene had to walk home alone and felt scared.but she went on with it.

first day of school yesterday was really fun but tiring.

met up with shuyi on 12 and we went there together.met some TKsians, checked the groupings and went to the hall for assembly.i'm in OG 29. the family name is BARBOSSA.it was the whole pirates theme.our emcees were hendro and sochenda.pretty good-looking people.
so we paid for the orientation package and stuff.talk by the principal and all.then the games started.

there is points system.and i'm proud to say, BARBOSSA came in victorious for 2 consecutive days.YAY US!

my OGLs were Shauna, Kim Yip and Johann (yes, the TKBand Percussionist).it was really fun lah.the group was like dead at first.then me, annurshah and jocelyn kept shouting and stuff.then the guys open up more then the group became really loud.what was irritating was the all-girl group.not only one, but like quite a few.shrieking non-stop as though they own the world. ok lah.its all in the name of fun.but girls, keep it down a little why dont'cha.

the only other TKsian in my group was Aaron Lim.it was hard knowing who's who since there are like 3 aarons. Lim, Li and Tan.Tan was my primary 2 classmate.its sad, he forgot who i was.but that fella damn funny.Lim was kinda quiet.and then there is Li.the loudest and most vocal of the group.i'm trying to be constructive here.

lemme try to recap who's in my group.
the 3 Aarons, Jay, Kah Tai, Pang Yao, Nasruddin, Halif, Rachel, Lisa, Joyce, Jocelyn, Annurshah, Zhenwei.
14 out of 18.oklah, not so bad.

oh yea.Kim Wakerman, you know, the kids central actress/runway model?well, she's in my school.how nice.Annurshah and i were saying that she is pretty.Johann and jay turned around and said "Eh, You need glasses ah?like that where got pretty?blind ah?" that was when we cracked up.haha.it was so funny.

today, we had a drama performance to introduce Theatre Studies and Drama.yes, TPJC offers it.the only other JCs are TJC and VJC.i think.
then we had a talk on choosing our subjects.then break.followed by phototaking.and we learnt the mass dance.not bad okay.2 out of 3 dances in 20 mins.the last dance was a couple dance and no one was willing to dance.pffttt...
then, we had a school visit by Power 98.rosalyn and jensen came to talk about radio and the media and stuff.really interesting.but im not gonna go into media.i think...
then it was lunch followed by preparation for orientation night.that is happening tomorrow.its gonna be fun, with a campfire and all.
each group has to come up with a skit/dance/musical.so that wld be interesting to watch.

for now, im gonna choose my subject combi and prepare for the skit.
i was thinking of doing H2 Chem, Bio, Theatre and H1 math.not planning to take that KI or malay lit shit.i'm gonna keep it simple.

okay.i'm still high on the fact that Panic! At The Disco are #7 on 98.7's top 100 list of 2006.well done boys!
they also won the award for best new act.
sadly, they came in 2nd in best rock act ( they lost to MCR ) and best album ( they lost to fort minor ).

last night was super fun.it was a nice change from all the stupid drama at home.

FAREWELL PARTY 2006
that's what it was.=)

it was a night of cam-whoring with gorgeous ladies and handsome guys.hahah.but more importantly, it was really nice to see all my wonderful juniors again! i finally got to personally welcome vernicia to the section.and they guys never changed.well, maybe they got more rowdy and talkative.

the performance was great! i give everyone credit for putting in the effort to make a unique show with interesting ideas.

first was kamarul, saeful and azmi's performance.they were a band of their own playing "chasing cars" by snow patrol.

then it was rifat's group dancing to "we're all in this together" by the cast of highschool msical.really great stuff!

this was followed by chin kiat's group which did a skit.it was about a group of students who were interested in music but their school did not offer band as a cca.it was cute esp when chin kiat went "i am the most handsome boy..." LOL.

then it was erfi's group.they did parodies of a few music videos.they did "i write sins not tragedies", "el-ninyo", "hips don't lie", "someday" and of course, a madonna song.forgot the title though.

then came the plague presentation ceremony.i forgot my speech so i went like "uhmm..thank you everyone for everything..errr..euphoniums rock! and librarians too.." haha.and erfi was like "why never thank me?"

DINNER TIME! well, it was more like "eat-for-five-minutes-then-take-loads-of-photos-for-the-next-hour".but it was great.sectional bonding and stuff.got presents and yada yada.erfi gave me cookies!yummy!
the section gave me a necklace with eyeshadow/lipstick pendant.haha.its so cute!thank you guys! and of course the card.really cute.

each sec 4 had a ballon with their name and a message from the section leader.

then came the sec 3's performance.really cool!it was a musical about a girl who wanted to dance but her boyfriend couldn't.they fought and stuff and had a battle in the end.but it all ended well.fiza and jerald made a really cute couple!hahha.oh yes..and wang min was sucha a great dancer!she shook her thang!just like the sway dance for outdoor comp. ;P

then they had 2 "special" prizes for best dressed.jun siang won best dressed guy.and err..i won best dressed lady.haha.SHOCKER!considering that my outfit was recycled.my earrings were my mom's since she was dating my dad.the only thing new were the chopsticks in my hair which i bought on the day itself.and for that, i got a tiara with blue fluffy thingies on it.haha.thank you judges! =)

and babyface introduced them.it was great!they performed their new single "this ain't a scene, it's an arms race".it was so cute cos patrick cldnt sing "god damned".so he just nodded his head everytime it came to that part.pete was hot as usual.he did the saying part.he somehow looked like his vampire character in the "a little less 16 candles, a little more touch me" video.he was using his new clandestine black and red bass with maple neck.patrick was also sporting a new guitar with a picture of constellations, matching with the band's new website image.and joe was cute too.he was smiling and screaming some random stuff while patrick was singing.and andy was just fantastic on the drums.love them all!

today was quite fun.slept for 6 hrs only.woke up at 8 and dragged rifat out of bed.still, he was late for band.so that kid went to school in a cab.

went online to search for more songs.there is one song which i've been trying to get but i can't!i shall keep looking.maybe i'll try the purevolume site next.

after that, went to meet momster.all cos she forgot to bring her bank book.i had to be the slave and send it all the way to bedok for her.luckily i was on my way to meet erfi, jolene and yug han.we were supposed to meet at city hall.i ended up waiting for 45 mins.erfi msged me to tell me they were at suntec.so fine, i went there and met them on the bridge.

walked around and shopped.well, mainly to get farewell presents.so sec 4 percussionists, i know what you people are getting!haha.it was a sick yet fun day out with those people.you heard me yug han?sick!gabriel joined as soon after that.

it was fun lah.just walking around and coming up with all sorts of stupid ideas.i miss you people.i miss band.don't worry euphoniums.we shall have a sectional outing soon yea?i've missed you guys too!and keep up the good work.your sl has been telling me good things.can't wait to hear you guys in concert!

the most anticipated fall out boy album is reported to be released on february 6 2007.bassist pete wentz told mtv yesterday that the album's title is "infinity on high", taken from a letter written by vincent van Gogh to his brother Theo in 1888, in which he describes his renewed health and the vigor it has instilled in his painting.wentz declined to explain the title's significance to the songs the band has written for the album.

the recently leaked song "carpel tunnel of love" will not be released as the first single.instead the title goes to "this ain't a scene, it's an arm's race".

fall out boy are known to have collaborated with many artistes.this includes william beckett from the academy is...(on the track "sophmore slump or comeback of the year") and brendon urie from panic! at the disco(on the track "7 minutes in heaven/atavan heaven").in fob's video "a little less 16 candles, a little more "touch me" ", urie played a dandy vampire while beckett played the leader dandy.travis "schleprock" maccoy also had a cameo role in that video, playing a punk vampire.

guitarist joe trohman was recently featured in cobra starship's new song "pop-punk is sooooo '05' " while singer patrick stump had a part in gym class hero's "cupid's chokehold".pete wentz also had a 3 second cameo on the video "snakes on a plane(bring it)" by cobra starship featuring william beckett (the academy is...), travis "shleprock" mccoy (gym class heroes) and maja ivarsson (the sounds).

for this record, fall out boy has decided to include more guitar solos."We felt like rock bands have kind of neglected the guitar solo, at least in our genre. So we had our friends Chad Gilbert (new found glory) and Ryan Ross (panic! at the disco) both play guitar solos on a song. But it won't be what you expect," says wentz.the band is also said to have collaborated with william beckett on one of their new tracks.

Wentz said that FOB have already recorded 14 songs with producer Neal Avron -- he claims titles include "Hum Hallelujah," "I've Got All This Ringing in My Ears and None on My Fingers" and "The Carpal Tunnel of Love" -- and are currently working with Babyface on a pair of tunes, under decidedly, um, relaxed conditions.

Get well soon Matt
Matt Tong, drumemr of bloc party, suffered a collapsed lung following Bloc Party's performance in Atlanta last night. He was taken to hospital after their support slot for Panic! At The Disco, alongside Jack's Mannequin at the HiFi Buys Amphitheatre.

According to a statement from the band: "Doctors at the hospital in Atlanta say Matt is in a comfortable condition and not in any danger. He will however be staying in hospital for at least the next three days for observation and it's not clear at this stage when Matt will be fit to resume performing."

This means that Bloc Party will definitely miss the next four shows on the Panic! At The Disco tour: Charlotte Cricket Arena (10.11.06), Washington Patriot Center (11.11.06) and New York Madison Square Garden Theatre (13.11.06, 14.11.06).

Matt actually hurt himself before the gig, and so played the whole show with a collapsed lung. That's stamina for you!

OMG!i can't believe it.i actually bought the Panic! At The Disco Collector's Box!
why is it so unbelieveable?

only 25 000 copies worldwide
its sold out in US and Australia
i was afraid daddy said no

but, daddy let me use his credit card to pay for it first.it cost US$45. plus all the shipping cost and handling fee, it is US$58.95.so that is about SG$100.this is when hari raya $$ comes in handy.i'm so proud of myself! i'm getting mine shipped in from the US. shipping starts on nov 10(mumsie's bdae) and i gotta wait 1 month cos i'm out of the US.but still, there won't be very many copies in asia, if they even have it here at all.

the past 2 days were interesting!

ytd went to mjc open house.saw many many familiar faces there.went with jit rui, yin ling, dora, shermaine, melvin.sheesh!some ppl just do not know when their fren is feeling left out.speak in chinese some more lah!treat me like i am invisible lah!that was the worse bus ride sia.even when i ride alone, i do not feel as lonely.

went to mj.hoping to stay positive.waited for taufiq cos i needed to let my feelings out badly.cant stand those ppl.only he wld understand.

met james.he brought me and shermaine to the band room.signed up for it.so will be called back for auditions and tuning.signed up for dance as well.

then in the middle met shaz!oooh!my saviour!and of course...SHAWN!it was super fun okay.i wanted to stay till 5.but ended up staying till 6.15!hahah.4 hrs man!but it was fun.he showed us some places you can make out!hahah.yes yes.but he made the whole thing fun lah.

and shawn speaks malay really well!it was fun.as if i was talking to a malaysian.heh.

when the dancers were performing, shwan was constantly saying "aku pon boleh!" (i can also do it).hahah.funny lah.then when it came to the mass dance, shawn refused to dance.aper lah!

then went to buke with shaz.at macs whitesands.shawn joined us later cos he had to give shaz her present.ahaha.BARNEY!

then sent shaz to her bus stop.then me and shawn walked back to interchange.of all the people in the world, we met some mjc students.they were all like "wahhh!!shawn!not bad ah shawn!"

for god's sake ppl!we just happen to be taking the same bus!

shawn is one great listener!talked to him on the bus.quite fun!

then today, had chem form 7.30 - 10.waited for emilla till 12.then sandhya's sister sent us to vjc, acjc and sajc.it was really fun!there were no sea of hot guys!we came a the wrong time!='(

vjc had a lot of school spirit and unity!they have a student's lounge where there is a pool table, fooseball and PS2.and air-con!like all the school has air-con halls lah!

acjc had theatre studies/drama elective.which i wanna take.since only 3 schools in s'pore offer it.might as well try for it.

sajc has hott guys!uniform really nice!and their studies are kinda slack.but can still produce results.and let me just say, they have wonderful school spirit as well.jarryl brought me to the band room.quite nice ah.got air-con.hahah.

well, now i cant decide.i just hope that i make the right decision when the time comes.

ooh.its been like 6 days since i last posted an entry?

well, last week was the first week of truncated.and that means only 2 weeks to o' levels.i'm here to do just a short review of the past week.and wad's about to come.

school was as usual.BORING!with a few rare moments of spastic teachers at their "best".

the middle of the week was horrible.let me ask, what do you do if ur stressed out about the exams, stuck in a relationship problem between two friends and 2 of ur relatives passed away in another country and you cant go for the funeral.due to exams..

i really do not know.i'm still trying to figure out my life after that.

on the bright side, i had a few of my really wonderful babes who kept me going.they let me forget my problems and just go loose!i feel great being with them!and i wanna thank them all very much!luv ya guys!

i have updates on rockstar supernova.thanx to haoning's HOT magazine.ok.so lukas is currently taking the chill pill.waiting to get in the studio and go on tour.HE LOVES HIS ASIAN FANS!and we love you too.well, the superstardom beats working at hooters eh lukas?and toby is moving out of australia to live with lukas in los angeles.and dilana is working with gilby and jason on her album.so thats it.

well, these past 2 weeks has been a rollercoaster.i've been stuck in a sticky situation, which i wasnt even involved in in the first place.but lets recall the fun parts first..

the past 2 days we had truncated lessons, 1 hr 25 mins per lesson, 3 lessons a day.25 min break in between each lesson.so far so good.akhil hasnt been coming the past two days.according to zhao shan, he suffered from PRATA-gitis.lame lah!

my dad once said that no two canadians can win rockstar, but 2 canadians won.he also said that no two malays can win idol, but 2 malays won.i mean, singapore is smart enough to vote for talent you see.we cannot be so narrow minded and always think that singaporeans are racists.maybe a few.but not all.that is why, it is competitions like these which shows the true colours of singaporeans.and just as hady said earlier, jonthan is a winner in his own rights as well.kudos to the both of them!

OMG!! ytd was like the best day ever.and for memories sake, i shall blog about every single thing.

woke up at like 7.was too excited to go back to sleep.watched tv till 12++ then went to shower.haha.like so late lah!then started doing my hair at about 2.erfi came a while later.he left for tuition at 3.finished curling my hair at 4.rifat came home and brought bubble tea.luv ya!

then erfi came back to my place with zakkiah at 5.and erfi just HAD to use my eye liner to draw whiskers on his face!wtf??
did my make up and all.then got dressed.

dad sent zakk to the interchange.then picked afiq up at his place.then sent erfi home.then it was off to meritus mandarin.we were 15 minutes late.but no one went into the ballroom yet.so it was still ok.took loads of photos!

when i came out of the lift, the first person i saw was taufiq and his reaction was like "whoa!" a lot of ppl liked my dress cos it was really really retro.but i thought it was too casual.but still, i was going for the theme!haha.

last night was basically a night where all the guys took the chance to put their arms around girls and take photos.it was sooo glam!it was a night of Glitz and Glamour!

GOH came and we settled down in the ballroom.sat at the assigned seats.then the whole ballroom was split into 2 groups.my group was No Knots.group leader : nazim.hahah.it was really fun.the other group was Team Brian.group leader : Brian Er.

there was a points system going on for the games.the first 1000 points was for the team who could cheer the loudest.No Knots won!then the next 1000 points was for the group who cld say their name the loudest.No Knots won!

then it was dinner.8 - course meal.i starved myself the past 2 days to fit all that food in.but it was a bad idea.the food sucked.i want my $60 back!the courses were served throughout the night.with games in between.

one game included dancing.TRADITIONAL dancing.there was chinesse dance, malay dance and indian dance.the best of all was the indian dance from No Knots performed by non-other than Marc Toh and Shazielah.great stuff.they included the whole bollywood-run-away-hide-behind-the-tree-throw-scarve stuff.really cute!i'll try to get the video from chong and post it up.

the performances was great as well!
13th chapter - faris, luke, haziq, rafie, khalis.they ~~sang~~ shouted kryptonite and another song.but great stuff.
love hate tragedy - taufiq, miswan, muhammad, razif, ruhui, michelle leong.they played sweet child of mine which ruhui sang.then michelle sang i will survive.
melissa sang a jazz song.it was a pleasent surprise.relly good.there was also T2B.accapella hotness!
there was also malaqe and masturah singing.can some one just go give malaque a recording contract already?!that girls deserves to go into the music scene.she's gonan sell out like hot cakes man!TK-sians, you guys shld know.then there was a video montage for all the sec 4s.and my name appeared in it! it said, "Astrid 4E, do your uncle proud!" hahah.was surprised lah.but so sweet of him.

i do have some regrets about last night.basically its not taking enough photos.i didnt take with taufiq malek, marc toh, cikgu nadhirah, mr rizal, mrs chen, mrs quek, ashley(she wore a dress ppl!!), clarissa, dora(how cld i not?!?!), and also mrs lim a.k.a DM.

but at least No Knots won in the end.YAY us!

after that, the whole class went to starbucks across the street.in between paragon and heeren.me and fatin got drunk!hahaha.CHOCOLATE MAKES YOU DRUNK!!

ok.so my paper is gonna start at 2.30 later.and since it is 9 in the morning, i shall blog a little about the past week.

the papers have been okay so far.all the practicals were easy.well, compared to what we expected anyway.maths was ok for both.do-able.the rest were all okay.

the highlight of the week has got to be last night and wednesday night.WHY?

FINALS OF ROCKSTAR:SUPERNOVA

it was a great wednesday of course!i found it to be better than singapore idol.like DUH!

Lukas Rossi Wins =)
This season of "Rock Star" has been one wild ride. Despite the many challenges for the talented Rockers who gave so much to this competition, in the end, it was lots of fun. Through it all, the final four met those challenges fearlessly, bringing extra intensity, charisma and rocking chops to the house. Supernova, for sure, had one tough decision to make.
But before we get to that decision, there were the bottom two. With only four Rockers left, this week's elimination consisted of a bottom two instead of three, and Brooke wasted no time announcing who they were. Lukas, Magni and Toby were all at risk at one point last night, but two would find themselves in danger of elimination.
First was Magni. To save himself, Magni chose Jimi Hendrix's "Fire," reprising one of his most celebrated performances of the competition. Would it be enough to save him from the axe?
Toby was next, taking his precarious position in stride. Singing Billy Idol's "White Wedding," the hunky Aussie showcased his strong voice and infectious energy. The girls loved Toby, but would the love extend to Supernova?
After some deliberation, Supernova quickly came back with their verdict. Sadly, Magni was sent home. The Rocker took his exit with charm, class and grace. And that's not surprising. Magni is, as Tommy said, "Magni-ficent."
And so it was down to three. After showing a retrospective of each Rocker's journey, Toby, Lukas and Dilana told Supernova why they were the best Rocker for the job. Tommy answered with, "You three are amazing. But we need to hear for ourselves."
Lukas was first, reprising his performance of The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony" with passion and intensity. He was absolutely electric.
Dilana followed with The Cranberries' "Zombie," proving once again that despite some brief personal stumbles, she was still on top of things.
Toby closed out the final three with The Killers' "Somebody Told Me"--a song he'd received the encore for earlier in the game, and one that nicely matched his voice and style. But would it be the match for Supernova?
Regrettably for Toby, the answer was no. Citing his vocal aptitude and how much fun he put in the music, all of Supernova was certain that the popular Aussie's future would be bright. The Rocker bid a gracious farewell by lauding his two remaining comrades and underscoring how much he'd gratefully learned from Supernova. It was all very heartfelt, touching and, yes, "EVS."
As Dilana and Lukas stood huddled together, awaiting the final, life-altering decision, Tommy was visibly stressed. To Lukas he said "Your look, your energy, your vocals, the way you move, everything's been really amazing for us." He then turned to Dilana and stated, "You are enchanting, and your voice is unbelievable. Who doesn't love you? Who doesn't love both of you guys?
But Supernova could only choose one. And who would that be? Tommy made the announcement: "Lukas, you're our boy." Dilana, though undoubtedly disappointed, thanked each member of Supernova saying, "I love and respect all of you." A standout during these many weeks, there was no doubt in Dave and Supernova's minds that Dilana would find major success.
Now it was Lukas' time to shine as the newly-crowned frontman. Singing "Be Yourself," Supernova wowed the crowd. Lukas' natural chemistry with the band shined through in a tour de force performance. The world better get ready.

and yes, with that, the season ended for rockstar.lst season was great too!rockstar:INXS.of course JD Fortune won.although i liked marty casey and mig ayesa better.but LUKAS WON!=))

so much for a short entry, but i just had to recap.oh and last but not least,
do not bea sore loser taufiq!i know you dilana robichaux lost.but second place is not bad eh?and my predictions were right.like i said, lukas rossi will win, and win he did.

last night was quite interesting actually.

chatted with shuib.cleared the air between us.and since during that whole "membastardkan astrid" period you read my blog EVERYday, i think u will read this too.i just wanna say that i'm glad we cleared everything last night.oh.and i haf a confession.maybe you knew, maybe u don't.tt time when my fren called you to say that your girlfriend was pregnant, actually my idea lah.i still had an itsy winsy little grudge against you.but its all good now.SORRY!!oh yea.and NATT, shuib didnt like me actually.so you can STOP convincing ppl about something ur not even sure about.it sure hurts to have you do that to me.i didnt think he liked me.but you convinced me that he did.and it caused too much heartache.all cos of you.so stop it!dun do this to emillia.she doesnt deserve it.

went to school for a while this morning for chemisCHEE ( inside joke to tksians).went through prelim practice 3.and the main points for practice 4 and 5.then went home.i read all my old entries.i was filled with emotion from all those bittersweet memories.like from the time i thought i went out with a hot vs guy(jangan kembang shuib) to the time i cursed him, calling him a sonofabitch, motherfucking nitwit.heh.sorry again!then also read the times when me and natt were best friends.and also when i was forced to write entries about how jonathan kum is a good guy and all.hahaha.i know you might be reading this too.remember the time when i called you to ask for natt and u were like "i can't believe its you".haha.read the old posts.quite interesting.

then i had to go to takashimaya for dental appointment.and me being the blur one didnt know how to get out of wisma.so i went out of orchard mrt via wisma atria.couldnt find an exit.went up, didnt know where the exit was.so went back down.looked for isetan.went up.then found and exit.and first thing i saw was the polka-dot-measles-like tree decoration.then i realised i was walking the wrong direction.was walking towards wheelock place instead.so then i took out my phone.pretended someone was calling me.then i walked back into wisma.went out by the same exit.then walked the opposite direction to taka.hahaha.then i had to find the entrance and lifts to tower b.then went all the way up to the 26th floor.my ears were almost popping.

as usual, i had to wait for dr huang.i was waiting in the cubicle.then i heard her voice.i thought she was coming in.but then.."hi jason..."ahhh..had to wait.about 5 to 10 mins.then i heard her voice yet again.again i thought she was coming in.then it was "hi thomas.."and then it was a "hi sally.."gosh!1/2 hour of waiting.

then dr huang had to grind my tooth.but it did not hurt at all cos she ground my fake tooth.yes ppl.i have a fake tooth.the front one.it is like totally dead LOR.the nerves are not working in that tooth.i drank something cold just now and every tooth hurt except that one.haha.funny feeling though.

to come to think of it, i have been wearing braces/retainers for 9 FREAKING YRS!like how long more is it gonna take?!?!?!but ppl ppl, my teeth are almost perfectly straight.=D well, compared to my primary 1 days when it was just horrible!!

and then, me as the wonderful sister that i am(ok, hold your pukes in people), bought lunch for my brother.spent like $12 on food LAH.once in a while, little brother deserves a treat after getting shit for some time.=D

went to whitesands today.went grocery shopping with mommy.and managed to find THE perfect clutch bag to go with my prom outfit.exactly same colour as the shoe.so happy.

today was super tiring!let's start from the very beginning.and it shall be as detailed as possible.

was supposed to meet them all at 11 at bedok platform.only erfi was there at 11.10.zaki just left his house, fiza and rico were still eating at paya lebar.then zaki.met fiza and rico at city hall and waited for the train.zaki insisted on going to somerset cos he wants to go to cineleisure to play DDR.like how gay man!and i SWEAR they were all against me just now!how unfair!

so zaki and rico played DDR, erfi tried to follow but failed and me and fiza juz sat there laughing at them.=D we could feel the whole building shaking when they were "dancing" lah!then zaki HAD to play para para.and tt gundoo chose a 5 star song and he couldnt do it.was laughin most of the way.

saw zhafir, david foo and their classmates.sorry.dunno their names.they borrowed my i/c to buy nc 16 movie tickets.and since i was 18 days shy, they allowed.so cool!like finally gonna be 16!ok.not the point.

walked over to wisma atria.so frustrating!there were no nice dresses, or they cost over $300.went over to TANGS then.erfi and zaki went to pray.so left the 3 of us.was looking for tt marilyn monroe dress i saw tt time with my mom.but found this other dress instead.rico and fiza made me try it on.and i LOVE them for tt!cos it was like THE dress.just slightly over my budget.so still affordable.its lime green with bronze buttons.very the retro!when i tried it on, they said it was really nice.all i needed was the perfect pumps.

then head over to far east.zaki joined us again while erfi went for tution.and funny thing is, his tuition was at MY block.like so coincidental lah.anyway, at far east, saw many many shoe shop.i liked them all.but fiza and zaki were against me buying black shoes.they said it didnt match the dress.zaki being all fashionista-ey had to say, "you need chrome shoes."like CHROME?!?!after almost an hour of looking, finally found this shop with many chrome shoes.ok, maybe 2 pairs.but still, it was perfect.the other shops only had chrome flatties.but this shop and high-heeled pumps!like perfect.then saw the price.$29.90.and to my delight, there was 10% discount!yay!so i paid about $27 only.like PERFECT!

then went to eat at ljs.and 3 of us ate cheese.while fiza, being lactose intolerant, sat there watching in disgust.sorry lah woman!cheese is like sooooo nice!

then went to ngee an city cos zaki just had to go to kinokuniya.is tt how u spell it?haha.dunnolah.then on the way, saw all the ncc sea boys askign for donation.those from our school were the sec 2s.so saw ashraf, wafiy and the rest lah.then they were like, "eh, donate summore lah.school value, charity".like sorry ah.just spent my money prom shopping.and it was for the yellow ribbon project.and they were ALL AROUND singapore.saw a lot of them at pasir ris and along the whole stretch from somerset to orchard.aiyo.so many for wad?

then mawith bulek tuty and momster to eat dinner.dinner was nice.i had buffalo wings.but didnt eat much cos still full from ljs.then bulek tried the kembangan sling.it was interesting.mix of orange, syrup and 7-up.damn nice.but sweet!the food was just great lah.for a malay run stall, they arranged the food really well.the chef was a hotel chef.and they dun have service charge.according to the waiter, "makan je pe.service charge aper?"coolness.

then went home, momster tried on my dress.and she refused to take it off.she wanted to borrow it for work.haha.it was funny lah.me and my mom can fit the same clothes.saves money!can just share.

we begged mrs koh to tell us the feedback of ytd's oral.she said "good!and in my yrs of teaching, i can tell for sure tt good means very good."
you can see the whole class smiling!well done my dearest 4E!you make me proud!

today got maths mock paper 1.i got 13/80!hahaha.damn pro lah!anyway, i found out about the test on in the morning so mrs tan expected such marks from us.today we did the paper 2.and i can confidently say that i can pass.it seemed easy.well, i can do all except 3 parts of questions.

today was quite fun.watched mr bean in the morning before assembly.fatin plugged in her dvd player to the projector in class.and we watched with mrs chen during CE and she let us watch during recess.tmr fatin is gonna brong it again, so those mr bean fanatics can come over and have a laugh with us.dearest 4E.=)

today had chem test after school.it was soooo tiring!!from 3 to 5.30.it was the first time i didnt fall asleep for an after school test.haha.YAY me!anyway, i wrote crap for the smokey flame question.cant forgive myself man!the answer was supposed to be hexadecane has more carbon atoms in each molecule, but instead, astrid belo gi letak octane needed less oxygen for complete combustion, so it burns more cleanly.DUMB!!!stupid lah.i wanted to change but mrs tan said times up!arghhhh!!frustrating.

tmr phy test.dunno wad chapter, but gonna study anyway.

started off the day revising bio on the train ride to school.when i reached school, it wasnt too good.i read a letter from a friend of mine.he has decided to run away from home, not attend school and eventually kill himself.now tt explains why he didnt reply my msgs.nobody noes where he is.and i am really worried.he got up onto the parapet once, with tears streaming down and all, but a friend managed to pull him back in.i'm really worried for u!the last thing i want is to have the police knocking on my door, and telling me to identify ur body.u may think that ur problems will be solved after u kill urself, but it juz causes more problems for ur loved ones.u wld make them miserable, and upset.we really care.so, why dun u juz come back home and start going back to school?u do not haf to thank me for helping u with chemistry.it was out of my will.i want you to do well.i know u want to get into TP really badly and do design.so why not pursue tt instead of ending ur life?you even did extremely well for ur 'o' levels.c'mon, if ur reading this, i juz wanna let u know tt i care and i want you to come back home.i did cry after reading your letter, cause i'm just worried sick.i justs spent last saturday with you, and now this.do not do this to your parents.it is bad enough we all are not even sure if ur still alive or not.PLS COME BACK!

HAPPY 41st Birthday SINAPORE!!!
my island home!probably the only day when all the racism stops and singapore actually comes together as one.i cldnt be happier.

anyway, today had tuition in the morning.boohoo.did the vs prelim paper.was ok lah.then went to the library at white sands with my cousins ira and aida, only to find tt it was closed.so went to popular.aunty lily wanted me to buy assesment books for the girls.bought malay for aida and math and science for ira.then ira went crazy when she saw sudoku books.siao!so bought her one lah.bought myself 'o' level guide books.pure bio(cos they didnt publish combined), combined physics and combined humanities(ss + geog elect in one bk).decided not to buy pure chem cos the notes which the school provides has more details.then bought myself a storybook.wanted to buy "the devil wears prada" but then saw a cheaper book.haha.budget lah!total price was $92.but used the member card get discount.so it was $82.still expensive but wad the heck.then went to macs while kak anik went to this fashion to look around.then went to meet momster at the mrt to go to uncle jup's house at novena.

was msging zaki all the way there.no no no.not my uncle zaki, but the TK bimbo zaki.he said something which totally made my day.thanx man!and so i haf added a new member to my list of fashionistas.after telling zaki i was gonna bring erfi as well, he said, "You are gonna bring 2 guys with questionable sexuality and skin colour to go shopping with you?"why not?haha.i mean, the two of you wld definitely love it.and zaki needs to look forward to something before tt horrible thing actually happens.stay strong kid.i'll always be here.=)

HAPPY 36TH BIRTHDAY MRS CHEE CHUI ENG!!!

today was a super fun day.zhao shan had to make stupid remarks while we were decorating the cake.then concert was superb.

went to the mrl after the celebrations to have chem lessons with mrs chee.then the whole class like shoved 40 stalks of flowers into her face.all thnx to 3D for the flowers.then zhao shan threw the cake at mrs chee and she had whipped cream and weird colours all over the back of her shirt!haha.then we wanted to pour chocolate and strawberry syrup on her, but she begged us not to.she told us, "pls!not today!i'm going out later.i will let u punish me on teacher's day!i promise!i deserve it.after scolding u a lot!"haha.we had tt on video.juz waiting for fatin to upload it.if she will in the first place.we managed to cancel our lesson with mrs chee..haha.great!

then went to town after a looooooooooooooong wait for emilla..went to far east specifically.went to the costume shop to get fatin's fedora.it was sooo cheap.outside was selling for $29.90.they were selling it at $18.and i told the guy tt last yr, i bought like 10 hats from them.well not me, but the whole flavalicious crew.then he gave us discount.$15!!it was suuuuuper cheap.

walked around somemore.saw A LOT of pumps there.i cant decide.my budget for shoes is $50.but they were all under $40!great!then saw this really nice dress.its $300 off the shelf and $350 made-to-order.its a great price.so now, all i haf to do is to grab my 2 fashionistas - erfi and fiza, and head on down to far east for my prom shopping!weeeeeeee!life great..and haoning is hiring a make-up artist, so we all join her.coolness!i have decided to go retro!yay me!well, i might change my mind soon.so we'll see how it goes until the actualy buying of the dress.

mrs chen has sooo make my life easier lah.i totally hate geog elect.and we get to choose which topics to pick to study.cos then i can concentrate on those topics more and score.and plus, u only haf to answer one topic from each section.so i haf decided.section a, i'm dropping agriculture.i mean, i dun wanna be a farmer.and i totally hate tt topic.too much to remember.so i haf decided upon industrialisation.

and section b, i'm doing either tourism or environmental degradation.i mean, tt's the closest i can get to phy geog in geog elect.so yea...bye bye to all those other topics.i'll juz work my ass off on those.

oh yeahh..eating loads of apples lately.and also shitting a lot lately.according to ms ang, apples contain cellulose which can only be digested by cellulase which humans dun haf.so, they do not get digested and get passed through the intestine and come out as shit.

gosh!i dunno how long more i can survive!

ytd, we had english mock exam.full paper 1.1 hr 40 mins.was falling asleep by the time i started section 2.so i did crap for tt piece.then today, e math mock exam.full paper 2. 2 1/2 hrs.all the way until 5!!!no kidding.there were 2 graphs - transformation and cumulative frequency.then there was the loci question.it was such a bore!almost everyone slept.

and next friday, the results of the 'o' level MT june paper will be released.well not really confirmed, but tts the speculated date.and the wednesday after national day celbrations, i'm having my 'o' level EL oral exam.dammit.

oh yeah.i checked my EL prelim oral results.i got 10/12 for reading, 10/12 for picture discussion, 12/16 for conversation.so tt makes it 32/40..after convertion, 16/20.not too bad i guess.one of the highest marks, but i know i can do better.

ok.today was a fun day..wel sort of.social studies was stupid!check out the quotes section for more of miss nani's stupid sayings.and then p.e. played basketball.tmr is games day.so hope to get the fun ppl.then c.e. was quite fun.had hear my say.it was stupid lah.especially the first speaker - Jerry Lee.spoilt my mood.i didnt noe such a being cld exist on the surface of this earth!
recess was ok.then malay.the usual.then e math.the test was easy.please, its sec 3 topics.then one period of english with teo-yeo again.

after school had ss test.a killer.well, not quite.i juz didnt bother studying tt's why.went home with classmates - jit rui, amanda, zhao shan, naqib, afiq, jonathan gan, shermaine, fatin, dora.the mean gang was as usual.baasically their leader(zhao shan) was making fun of this sumone.and he was suuuuper mean.we didnt haf the heart to tell tt person.the rest of the trip home was spent stoning.

and now, here i am enjoying my home-mad spa!i have a facial mask on, hair mask, body lotion as well as filing and buffing my nails.hey, prom is coming okayy.i need to start my beuty treatment!haha.ok so i shall update u ppl on my progress in looking for THE perfect prom dress.i sooo cant wait.i haf decided tt i wanna get high heeled pumps.my only dilemma - pointed toe or open toe.teeheehee.

today was a so-so day.had english with both teo and yeo..haiz..yeo was screaming into the mic.teo was juz walking arnd aimlessly...then akhil called me minah..at least he said tt my prev bag made me look like a minah..weird.he is the only one who thinks tt.even naqib disagrees with him.had chemistry practical.some titration thingy which gives us this coffee colour.the colour change was a little tough to notice.but got used to it.the rest of the day was as normal..

after school..saw him =)))))))))))) then bio practical test.we only get bonus marks if we got 13/15.when distinction is 11/15.unfair!tt is so miss ang.anyway, it was test of starch in plants.so had to boil the leaf, submerge leaf in alcohol in water bath, boil leaf again, iodine.saw the chlorophyll come out.so the boiling tube was like super green.like some sort of alien slime.eeks!

then had oral training wif jihan and teo.omg!shld haf seen all the dandruff falling off his head!he said i was good.and didnt really add on to what i had to say.then walked to tkg bustop wif jihan.saw him again =))))) then jihan was like telling me to tok to him.but he didnt even look up, so we juz walked away.

took 12 all the way home.met joshua on the bus.fell asleep until my stop.and went online.erfi asked for retro outfit.haha.luckily i haf.thanx to my mom who keeps her old clothes and gave them to me thinking tt i wld wear them too.haha

now, gotta do sec 3 revision worksheet.so toodles~

it is one of those days where i feel like posting twice.well maybe cos i i wanna share my good news with all of u, and make u ppl jealous...if ur gonna be tt is.

see, dadster here doesnt allow me to get my prom stuff as a birthday present.i thot i wld only be considerate to ask for them as my presents since prom is like 3 days after my birthday.when i asked why, he saed "birthday present is present, prom is prom.u tell me what u really want for ur birthday, and i save up extra for ur prom." =))))))) total happiness!!

tt was last week.today i asked him if i cld go buy the stuff during sept hols, since after tt all the way till prom will be prelims.he said oky.then i asked what the budget is.his reply : "$500"...MORE JOY!!haha.so u girls can start hating me.i dun care.gonna get THE perfect outfit.oooh..and my mom bought 2 pairs of coudroy pants.but they were the wrong size, so she gave them to me.and she claims "i look good in them"..awww..thanx mother dearest...

so we were gg for swimming lessons today...its our last after 7 yrs.gonna miss all the friends.though some haf "retired"..such as rudy and sudarni...but point is, while we were walking, rifat said "Kak!didnt u notice tt?"

ytd, had bio lesson in the morning.the topic - nucleotide/chromosomal/genetic mutations...interesting.then went to see mr teo with jihan.he gave us this picture and reading material.then we had to wait, cos he was dg some other students.so we waited.jihan saed to give him 5 mins.i saed 30.we went to the canteen, waited bout 15 mins then went up.he still wasnt done.we waited another 15.so tt was 30 mins.so we told mr teo tt we only had until 9.30 and had to go.so he potponed it to monday.if i had known better, i wldnt haf come in th efirst place!

the highlight of my day was the party.not juz any party.but AN 8-YR OLD'S!sheesh.i wldnt even haf gone if she wasnt my cousin, or if she hadn't made me the PARTY PLANNER.aiyoyo.she very the cerewet one.she doesnt want this, doesnt want tt...

one by one, her friends came.there was this super annoying girl - rahayu.she looked exactly like my pri school friend rafika.but rafika was never annoying.but this girl is soooo OMG!i swear i haf never seen a more spoilt BRAT!!she wanted to do everything.she wanted to control the music.i cldnt burn the songs on a cd, so i had to use my dad's zen.so everytime i go away or juz stand up, i will lock the touchpad of the mp3.and as expected, rahayu tried to stop the music, tried to do everything, but cld not.then she kept asking me HOW?HOW?..and i told her that it needs my "special touch".and i showed her.i discreetly unlock the touchpad(so she didnt see) and then stopped the music."see!"i told her.then i locked it again.she kept trying but all i told her was - "it needs my special touch".and this went on throughout pass the parcel, musical chairs, dancing statue and the newspaper dance.god!she was such a handful.

then came pin the tail on the pony.she was all over me.her hands were all over my beutiful face and my perfectly curled hair(yes, i curled my hair, not permed though).and i finally saed"hands off me or u dun play"...she obeyed, but her face was still right in front of me, in my face.sheesh!she ended up winning 3 games(and all the other kids gave the "wth its so expected and but why cant it be me" look.and she pinned the toil on my butt!like hello??do i look like a pony to u?god.10 yr-olds are really quite a handful.

and she was super bossy.the kids hated her...and so did the adults.i hrd from kak anik(the maid) that her mom is the same.how do they ever survive?there was once, rahayu saed the F word and this oh-so-cute little girl dinah repeated after her.she's only 3!and since dinah had 3 siblings - isa, insyirah, imran - and her cousin iman in the room with her, all 4 came running out shouting to aunty halijah(their mom) "dinah saed the F word!dinah saed the F word".aunty halijah was so shocked.and the kids told her tt rahayu saed it and dinah followed.aunty halijah turned and look at me, smiled and saed "ur best friend"..haha.aiyaiyai!

whe we were cutting the cake, my aunty told rahayu "u are not normal rahayu!"..i quickly raised my hand and said "i AGREE!"..and everyone else started saying tt they agreed.hahah.shld haf seen the look on her face.but sumhow she still remained a brat, and didnt change.haiz...

it was really tiring to be the "games master" to a bunch of 8-10 yr-old kids.or as shahdan puts it, "babbysitting about 20 kids"..i fell asleep in aunty lily's room at about 9.30...went home at 11.slept some more.i dun ever wanna be in charge of anything at parties like this!

we had like remedials/tests for ALL 3 sciences on friday.sheesh.had chem remedial.mrs chee gave out our class test.finally got a B3 after a gazillion yrs if F9s...then physics test.didnt bother studying.juz read through.then biology practical - food test.sheesh...the class can get really cuckoo at times.the whole class put the whole chunk of biscuit in the benedict's solution(test for reducing sugars) and the biuret test(test for proteins)...when we were supposed to crush the biscuit first mix with water, and then use the solution made for the test...not the biscuit itself!ms ang was fuming..haha.but did we care?no..haha.

TK GOLDEN RUN on saturday.i had to run the relay.second runner for my class.jonathan gan, being the first runner, fell on the gravel path along the reservoir.thus, we started slow..i managed to go up one position and afiq, amanda and melvin continued with the rest...we came in 4th...not bad lah.and CONGRATS to clarissa for coming in 2nd for the 5 click individual race and ashley for coming in 1st in the same race..4E rocks!!

TK BAND CELEBRATIONS was extremely funn!! was in group 13 - POKEMON..how original.i mean come on..Zhafir was the leader!haha.we did well..had funn..then at night, announcement of provisional committee...and danced the night away.

ytd, had tuition, then had to plan for aida's party. i didnt noe an 8 yr old girl can be so picky on the games she wants for her party..its all the typical pass the parcel, pin the tail on the pony musical chairs, dancing statues...then went home.chat wif some ppl.and now jonathan ng noes everything.jonathan kum too.haiz..hope tt it doesnt spill out.

i'm in such a dilemma..him? or him?i haf no idea.been "rejected" twice by one of them.the other has no clue..haiz..i juz wanna get my sec 4 life over and done with, get into a new school and forget about these ppl.like ng said, i shld probably get myself a Mr C to forget about Mr A and Mr B...and if it doesnt work out, get a Mr D, E, F, etc...but tt wld be so sluttish..i wld juz stick to my one and only boyfriends - textbooks!=.=

it was fun reading all the tags.the war of words.not tt i wanna start sumthing here, but the feeling is good when i did not reply to any tags, ppl defending me, some criticising.but in the end, it was TK BAND who showed them who's boss =) and i know i have said this before, but i will say it again...I <3 TK BAND!!!

let's just enjoy this saturday's celebrations aight?it will be the last band practice for the sec 4s, but i dun mind having band celebrations from 1pm to 10pm with all of u.really gonna miss all the fun times.

gonna miss my section - euphoniums '06.u all did wonderful.thanx for making my life meaningful!

to all my good friends.u noe who u are.really gonna miss the fun tt we had.

okay.today has got to be the meanest day for us..i mean, we were mean to a lot of ppl.well, 3.

so today was the MT 'O' level listening comprehension paper.the stupid malay paper started only at 4.30.so was feeling really bored in school.i mean, who wld want to study right?well, at least not us - me, fatin, haseenah, divya, emilla, chayana, sandhya.i think tts all.

victim #1 : my uncle zaki( sori dear)
prank : we called him pretending to be cindy from i-models international.we told him tt we talent-spottd him outside his school - broadrick secondary.we wanted to hire him to be a model for the new levi's free to move jeans..
reaction : he totally bought it at first.then he realised it was a prank.but we didnt give in.we gave him some comfort bus charter number to call back.haha.then he thought that we were some ira girl.right zaki.ira is juz a fren *winks*

victim #2 : erfi
prank : "hello muthu!i want my bryani now!where is my prata?i want my curry now!..."it was a typical indian coffeeshop scene, with us shouting for some random dishes.
reaction : his MOM picked up the fone!haha.but poor erfi was like "who was the indian guy who called me juz now?!?!"well, tt indian guy was fatin, my dear.haha

victim #3 : shuib ( revenge is sweet!)
prank : we called him to tell him tt his girlfriend maryam is pregnant and tt he has to accept full parental responsibilities or else, he will go to court and bear the full cost of the child's expenditure under court section 204 (we dun even noe if its true!).
reaction : he was so scared at first.until sandhya blew it by saying tt we were from tp dental surgeons.wth?!?!nice going sandy!and now, our favourite line is "my dentist called me up ytd and told me i was pregnant!"wahaha..

listening was ok.tricky, but went well.the DJs were so crap.haha.cute though.then went home with them.was orite.managed to read more.so tt was good.now home.got more msgs from jit rui, apologised..details wun be revealed here.i've gotta regain my trust back......

ok.the past few days were quite interesting.

on thursday, juz as i was a bout to sleep, this certain sumone msged.gee..thanx.he read my blog and asked me some stuff..and so i replied..carried on to the next day.

so friday was half-day.after school had chem.went home.got changed.met emmz.and sumone else to tok.then took cab to taka for my dental app.omg!the dentist was freaking hott!!ask emmz.she agreed.then ate.then met up with MOMster.got a haircut for 10 bucks!cheap or wad?i haf more fringe now.my hair is shorter.and MUCH thinner.and i juz realised something.it looks like rahimah rahim's hair.omg!i dunno whether its good or bad.continued with msg tt certain sumone until i fell asleep.haha.whoops.

woke up and replied the msg.got ready for school.had prelim oral.i got mdm faridah.she was laughing quite a bit.so i guess it went well.then went to pp with haoning and dora.ate chocolate fondue...mhhhhmmm..it was yumm-may.see fatin.patience is a virtue.the only reason why we ate fondue was cos i got into a HUGE fight with jit rui.cursing each other.and i got upset.well.i was juz protecting my brother.well, sorry jit rui.but i hate to see my brother upset.u wanna tell him anything, u hafta tell me.its either tell me sumthing or tell him nuthing.u got tt clear?thanx to hn and dora for trying to help.and fiza too.and fatin.and emmz.

anyhoo, went to granny's place.my aunty blanja me chilli crab.as a super belated bdae treat.wow!i didnt noe nine months after my bdae was still considered belated.might as well call it an early bdae present.juz 3 months short.still carried on with the msging.oh gosh.horny fella.haiz.i shall spare u ppl the details.

when i finally reached home, i went straight to the comp.dwnlding DSA forms.i took meridien, anderson and st andrews.me and amanda planning to go thru dance.i dun want band in jc.too boring for me.only one band will be in my heart and tt is TK BAND.so both of us gg for contemporary dance.i hrd tt they will teach a choreography, then u audition.is tt easy or wad?and even if there is freestyle, i think i can make it.

oh..and kathy, i really need to tok to u!i've got updates ;p
as for now, i gotta go dream bout paul twohill.
